Jon Stewart - Missing Half the Fun

When you (pretty much) only apply that "hard-hitting" humor to the conservative side of the fence, you're going to alienate the crowd in the middle looking for an honest broker who can see the hypocrisy on BOTH sides.  Plus, and this may be a cardinal sin in entertainment, you are severely limiting your material.

Maybe he can come back after his Obama swoon.  Congress is under new management and there's a presidential election year to lampoon, but, ironically, he has the most to benefit long term from a Republican president.

Hopefully, he'll still be around to rant on it, although, given his choice of buddies, it seems like it may just be a matter of time before he, too...

Memories of Brian Williams

Sometimes it's hard to believe
"The Most Trusted News Anchor on Television"
has done so many things in his glorious lifetime

There's his courageous war reporting from the field

And, since he's modest to a fault, we never hear about his
volunteer work on behalf of the average citizen,
being a force for good and taking a stand against cloning

Finally, his talents were recognized at last, in his honorary new post

The 2015 Super Bowl Champs - New England Patriots

A Heartfelt Congratulations to the New England Patriots,

Great job!  Hard fought.  You deserve the Lombardi Trophy.

With a minor modification...

Sincerely,
A New York Giants Fan

Happy Woodchuck Day!

Ah, Woodchuck Day is here again!
It seems relatively the same year after year, rarely a snowflake out of place, nor a bit of mercury above 30 degrees.  And then we have his avowed talent, where the woodchuck tries his claw at predicting the weather.  He apparently can see shadows despite consistently cloudy weather, so he couldn't do much worse than what we have already, could he?
Hoping for some early spring temps.

Remember, folks, don't drive angry
